Kalemegdan – One of the most impressive features and one of the oldest, most important forts in history now turned into a city park used by all in the center with beautiful views of the rivers.
Knez Mihailova – Main pedestrian street in Belgrade full of cafes, bars and the city’s fashionable shopping or just strolling center. Packed with people all the time strolling down the catwalk.
Skadarlija – The bohemian quarters of Belgrade where famous artists and poets in the past spent their days. Full of great authentic restaurants with lovely local folk music.
Nikola Tesla Museum – A great museum dedicated to the grandfather of electricity with many of his still literally shocking expirements on display for all to marvel.
Military Museum – Full of ancient items back to Rome, this is a must see museum for anyone located in Kalemegdan, the spot of some of the most important battles in history.
Zemun – Located just 15 minutes away from the center is a 2nd city right in Belgrade. Different, older architecture, great restaurants and bars on the Danube make this a great short trip.
